If you're not sure how to begin planning your Guanacaste - North Pacific Coast trip, rest assured, because there's an array of great hotel and apartment varieties in Carrillo. No less than 23 hotels are located within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) radius of Carrillo's downtown precinct.

Carrillo is on your doorstep from all these centrally located Travelocity-listed lodgings, including the Hotel Guanamar and Hacienda Del Mar Guanacaste.

You could also try the Hotel Punta Islita, Autograph Collection or the LAcqua Viva Resort & Spa. The Hotel Punta Islita, Autograph Collection is located only 5 miles (8 kilometers) outside of the city center of Carrillo. The LAcqua Viva Resort & Spa, can be found 15 miles (24 kilometers) away. Two more places to stay around Carrillo include the The Harmony Hotel and the Villas Playa Samara Beach Front Resort - All Inclusive.

Nosara is 15 miles (25 kilometers) to the northwest of Carrillo and is where you'll find Safari Surf School and Frog Pad. Next time you head to Nosara, be sure to check out the Villa del Sol and Living Hotel. Or, you could stay the night in Tamarindo, 40 miles (62 kilometers) northwest of Carrillo, where you'll find the Naxos Condominium and Crystal Sands.
